DALLYING DYNAMO #2
by Ronna A Pate
The focus of this piece is on the horn which is used for roping and dallying cattle. Dallying, securely wrapping a rope several times around the horn, is done once an animal has been roped and caught.
I'd been wanting to paint a saddle that was feminine and Azalea fit the bill! The colors are fresh and bright. This particular saddle is one I have painted before and will again because I love the curved edges! My artwork is inspired by my Grandfather, a cowboy in his younger days, whose stories I heard as a child made me fall in love with all things Western. Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas.
