FOOT CRADLES #2

I was drawn to these stirrups because they have an elegant, curved shape. Stirrups are not typically considered to be decorative objects but I feel these are an exception! i very much wanted to depict them as handsomely as I could. There will always be stirrups in my portfolio because I love painting metal. This piece was inspired by my Grandfather, a cowboy in his younger days, whose stories I heard as a child made me fall in love with all things Western. Oil on Gallery Wrapped Canvas
